Ayurveda Treatment For Psoriasis

It is assumed that around 30 percent of people are suffering from psoriasis. Psoriasis is an inflammatory condition of the skin that shows certain signs and symptoms.  It develops inflammation in the skin. The most common type of psoriasis is plaque psoriasis. 80% people have plaque psoriasis which occurs as raised, reddish patches on the skin that usually covered by a silvery white scale.  These patches quickly develop on the knees, elbows, scalp and lower back. However, they can occur any part of the body.

The other types of psoriasis include
  • Guttate psoriasis (red, small spots on the skin)
  • Pustular psoriasis (white patches covered by red skin
  • Inverse psoriasis (smooth, red lesion form in skin folds)
  • Erythrodermic psoriasis (widespread redness, itching and pain)
